If you are accessing this site on behalf of a corporation or entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity to these terms.

02. Scope of Consulting & Research

Our services, including Recruitment Algorithm Audits and Bias Mitigation Advisory, are intended as evidence-based diagnostic tools. Econ Intel provides research-driven guidance on Canadian workplace regulations.

Service Limitations:

  • No provision of legal advice; consult specialized counsel for legal compliance.
  • No guarantee of 0% bias; statistical parity is the target metric, not absolute elimination.
  • No software re-coding services; we provide diagnostic reporting and mitigation strategy.

03. User Obligations & Conduct

Users are strictly prohibited from utilizing our research data or audit frameworks to facilitate discriminatory hiring practices. You agree not to:

Third-Party Software

Our advisory often involves the review of recruitment platforms. Econ Intel does not claim ownership over the software being audited, nor are we affiliated with HR tech vendors unless specifically disclosed in an audit report.

Anonymized Data Usage

To improve Canadian labor standards, Econ Intel reserves the right to use aggregate, fully anonymized statistical findings from regional audits for broader research publications. No client-identifying information will ever be included.

License Restrictions

ECON INTEL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OF RECRUITMENT ALGORITHMS OR AUTOMATED DECISION-MAKING SYSTEMS PREVIOUSLY AUDITED BY US. OUR REPORTS REPRESENT A POINT-IN-TIME DIAGNOSTIC ASSESSMENT.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be settled in the courts of Toronto, ON.
